THIS is how to make
                      
a great, fast salad!
 
  • Lettuce: (Iceburg, Romane, Red Leaf, etc.  Sometimes labeled Italian if you by the bag).
  • Baby Spinach (Bagged, prewashed)
  • Bell Peppers: (Red, Green and Yellow)
  • Diced Celery
  • Cucumber (sliced and quartered)
  • Cut Red Onion
  • One Boiled Egg (shred with back of fork)
  • Freshly Ground Pepper
  • Sharp Cheddar Cheese (shredded)
  • Carrots (shredded)
  • Cubed Ham
  • Bacon Bits
  • Garlic Croutons
  • La Choy Egg Noodles
  • DRENCH with Balsamic Vinegar!

Buy as much Pre-cut/Prepared as you can, like lettuce, spinach, carrots, etc.  Then cut everything and keep in the fridge.  Since things will need to be replaced at different rates - it won't be a big deal keeping it stocked.

I've been eating my salad again for about 6 months - and have lost 30+ lbs.  AND I STILL look forward to it every night!  But... I give myself the weekends to 'cheat'.  It keeps me sane.
